Desires got stuck in the night,
In the drifting snow of whitening dreams.
A rusted bolt clanged,
Rooks flocked to the fence,
And it's quiet. Shout or don't shout.
Dawn dissolved the dreamings,
Passing between the window curtains.
The dripping was barely audible,
Behind the wall a kettle was boiling
And whistling with steam.
Gathering an armada of clouds for a while,
Spring frowned in the sky.
Since you were never born,
Stuck in a love problem,
The earth bore a heavy burden.
I tried to catch your image,
But it flew away and swirled.
Snow spread in a gleaming trail,
You were dreaming in a wedding dress,
Calmly streaming through embraces.
The light of a sooty lamp trembled,
Shadows darted about the room.
Bowing my knees obediently
Before the image of a soaring maiden,
I entered a fervor, a praying prisoner.
Silver streaks the temples.
Hope for a meeting is gone.
I long ceased to contradict fate,
Let it say, what is my fault —
Apartment? Career? Price?
